grew up in a small town, Minas Gerais , Brazil. As a teenager she moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil, one of the largest cities in the world, where she graduated as a pharmacist in 1998 from the University of Sao Paulo. In 2001, she received her master’s degree in science. She moved to the United States in 2003 with her Texan husband. Lucia worked with DNA sequencing and molecular diagnostics before become a passionate compounding pharmacist. She oversees the compounding practices, quality assurance and formula development. She is the proud mother of 2 wonderful boys. She loves reading and outdoor activities.
