This prescription has been compounded by Physicians Preference Pharmacy on physician’s orders.  This pharmacy reports prescriptions for controlled substances to the Prescription Monitoring Program as required by the state of your residence.

MEDICATION: Contains low dose naltrexone (LDN)

USE:  As a pharmacologically active opioid antagonist, Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) works by blocking opioid receptors, which in turn helps activate your body’s immune system.

SIDE EFFECTS:  The most common side effects reported with naltrexone are non-specific gastrointestinal complaints such as diarrhea and abdominal cramping.

Notify your physician if any of these effects occur.

PRECAUTIONS:  Do not use this medication if you are pregnant.

DIRECTIONS:  This medicine may be administered as an oral capsule or sublingual tablet. Take as directed by your physician.  Do not exceed the prescribed dosage.  Take capsules with a full glass of water.  Sublingual tablets should be placed under tongue and allowed a few minutes to dissolve.

MISSED DOSAGE:  If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered, but not within 6 hours of your next dose, then resume your normal dosing schedule.  Do not “double-up” the dose.

STORAGE:   Upon receipt, store at controlled room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
