This prescription has been compounded by Physicians Preference Pharmacy on physician’s orders.
DRUG:
Terbinafine, Itraconazole, Tea Tree Oil, Urea, Biotin, DMSO.
Terbinafine, Itraconazole, and Tea Tree Oil are used to treat fungal infections. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is used as a penetration enhancer. Urea is used to soften the nail and as a penetration enhancer. Biotin helps in the growth of healthy nails. This combination is used to treat fungal infection of the nails.
DIRECTIONS:
Apply using brush applicator to top surface of the nails and under the nails’ edge, twice daily or as directed by your physician.
CAUTIONS:
For external use only. Contact with the eyes, nose, mouth and mucous membranes should be avoided after application. Continue to use for 1 month after all visible infection has cleared up to prevent reoccurrence. Notify physician if there is no improvement after using for 2 months.
POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:
This product may cause local irritation to the site of administration after it is applied. If excessive irritation occurs, discontinue use of the medication and notify your physician.
STORAGE:
This medication should be stored away from children’s reach, at controlled room temperature, and protected from direct sunlight. Screw cap on tightly after each use.
DISPOSAL OF UNUSED MEDICATION:
Contact the pharmacy for instructions on how to safely dispose of unused medication. Do not flush unused medication or pour down sink or drain.
